Now is time to rig the character and do some experiments as we will be combining two diffwrent 3D applications in order to composite the dragon into the main scene. It's going to be an interesting challenge. It's going to be incredibly helpful and will give us a massive boost. Well not really kicking but surely throwing a wobbly. We're considering buying (ouch) an IK plugn to make the rigging of the rest of the characters easier, so we can see some real progress as the setting up is the most time consuming part of it. Every day of the week I come to work one hour early, so I have some time to spend researching, learning and solving problems I encounter as I go. Lacking a technical team to tackle personally all the hairy side of 3D animation I have had to slowly untangle the dark arts of modeling, rigging, texturing, lighting and rendering. All in order to get to do some animation, ironic eh? Luckily with a bit of patience and the help of a handful of selfless and talented friends I believe we can bring the mighty Lord Vladder to life.
